Julie, R.N. Care Manager
I have been at Baywood since 2013. I have worked in home care and Geriatric Case
Management for most of my 25+ years of nursing. I was previously employed by the University of Minnesota Physicians as a supervisor overseeing nurses and social workers in developing a program to keep people in their homes, reducing Nursing Home admissions. This was a very rewarding experience but I wanted to return to face to face nursing with contact with clients, since this is where my passion lies. When I do get time for myself I enjoy being creative and have a hobby of throwing pottery.
Lonnie, R.N. Care Manager
I have been with Baywood since 2013. My first R.N. position was working as a nurse manager at a nursing home. Then I worked for 10 years for Fairview Home Care and Hospice as a case manager, and after that with the U of M Physicians as a Managed Care Coordinator, working with elderly clients in their homes. I enjoy vacations on the beach, boating, working in my flower garden, planting flowers with my daughter-in-law, visiting neighbors, and visiting my son in Colorado. I live in Maple Grove.
Bridget, R .N. Care Manager
I have been with Baywood since 2016. I have hospital experience both in post-surgery and Geriatric Psychology. I was for several years a Home Care R.N. at Equity services, a home care nonprofit. I also spent 10 years immediately before joining Baywood at the University of Minnesota Physicians as a Managed Care Coordinator for seniors in their homes. I am married and live in Woodbury. Much of my spare time is spent with family and friends enjoying life.
Julie R., R.N. Care Manager
I joined Baywood in 2020. I have had a career in the nursing field for over 30 years. I have a strong foundation in Disability and Geriatric Case Management, Rehabilitation Nursing, and Home Care. Over half of my career has involved various leadership roles.
I work in my community as a Volunteer Guardian. I share my life with my husband and a Vizsla dog, called “Tilly Mae.”
Michelle, R.N. Care Manager
I joined Baywood in 2021. I have been working in home care for over 15 years. I started as an aide. I then worked as a pediatric private duty nurse for several years with Hiawatha Home Care. I then spent 7 years working as a RN case manager with Home Health Care, Inc in the Minneapolis area. Helping people stay in their homes is the most rewarding part of my career.
I have three children with my wonderful husband. We are busy with kids’ sports and activities. We enjoy camping, boating, and snowmobiling. I also love gardening, and cooking, cribbage, and I play volleyball.
Emily, Chief Compliance, Quality, and Education Officer
I joined Baywood in 2021, and have more than 20 years of nursing experience, including more than 10 years in management. I began working with seniors at the age of 12 while
volunteering with my grandmother, who was a registered nurse, at a nursing home in Robbinsdale. My love for seniors blossomed into a nursing career, with a dedication to serving and improving the lives of others. I enjoy time with family, singing and volunteering.
Larry, L.P.N., Home Care Nurse
I have been at Baywood since 2017. My L.P.N. experience includes home health, assisted living, long-term care, and transitional care. I have a B.A. in Business from Concordia University and was a property manager for seven senior housing facilities before becoming a nurse. So in a way, I have been taking care of seniors a long time! When not working I enjoy spending time with my wife and family in our home in Plymouth.
